NFL players taking a knee during the anthem appears to be the norm nowadays. Yes, it's unpatriotic, but it's the right of the players to do as they wish. It's also the right of the fans to decide to get their sports fix elsewhere. Do you know of an equally if not better alternative entertainment outlet? How about the Legends Football League, or better known by its former name, the Lingerie Football League?

The LFL sent a notice that while it recognizes the rights of the people to kneel, its own players will be proudly standing. According to the league:

"The LFL recognizes everyone's First Amendment right to protest, but our nation's flag and anthem are far too scared. Too many fellow Americans have made the ultimate sacrifice so that our flag and anthem continue in all its majesty."

Check out this awesome video of LFL's official statement and the images of the beautiful women boldly placing their right hand over their hearts.

What conclusion can be drawn from this? For starters, it shows that the LFL players are not only 10 times better looking than the NFL guys but also have the brains to match their beauty. They are willing to take a stand even if it's not the PC thing to do at the moment. That gesture commands respect. It means the players are willing to do the patriotic thing in an industry dominated by progressive pundits.

The LFL is still a relatively small organization, having only been founded in 2009 and so far only consists of eight teams. With their courageous display of patriotism, hopefully they will get the attention they deserve, allowing the organization to expand its roster and recruit more young talent.

Did the LFL just score big with the American audience? Does their decision to salute the flag create newfound hope in the love for one's country?
