Former Bears coach Mike Ditka has always been politically vocal. It stands to reason then that the man is going to share his two cents regarding the whole "take a knee" debacle.

What's great about Ditka is that he doesn't mince words and tells it as it is. During a pre-game commentary at Westwood One's Monday Night Football, Ditka discussed the whole nonsense of players kneeling for the anthem.

"I don't see all the social injustice that some of these people see."

"There has been no oppression in the last 100 years that I know of. Now maybe I'm not watching it as carefully as other people."

Ditka concluded by saying that players have no business playing football if they're going to disrespect the flag.

He also made this statement that will have liberals crying white privilege:

"Is everything based on color? I don't see it that way. You have to be color blind in this country. You have to look at a person for what he is and what he stands for and how he produces - not by the color of his skin."

Of course, liberals are going to decry these statements. They're going to say that it's easy for Ditka, a white man, to be "color blind" because he doesn't go through the oppression and the microaggressions that minorities are subjected to. Remember, in liberal logic 101, being oppressed by the evil white man is the greatest form of virtue.

Ditka is right, though. progressives have become so fixated on race that it has become a fanatical obsession of theirs. They use the word "racism" and "white supremacy" as a weapon to smear their political opponents. Expect some op-ed post from Salon or Huffington Post to make some insane accusation about Ditka and his whiteness.

Do you think Ditka is now going to be targetted relentlessly by the leftist media?
