It’s almost a certainty once you have a “corroborated allegation” of sexual misconduct that there will most likely be others coming forward to tell their stories and that’s apparently what’s taking place with Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), as yet another woman is now going public detailing her harrowing experience.

On Thursday Army veteran Stephanie Kemplin told CNN that the Minnesota lawmaker groped her breast while posing for a photo in 2003 when the two were in Kuwait during the Iraq War.

Kemplin at the time was in the Army and stationed in the Middle East, while Franken was there campaigning for senator when the groping incident took place.

She recalls the incident vividly stating, “When he put his arm around me, he groped my right breast. He kept his hand all the way over on my breast, “I’ve never had a man put their arm around me and then cup my breast. So he was holding my breast on the side.” She said Franken held his hand there for at least 5 to 10 seconds.

This incident makes number five, and no doubt there will be others. The pattern of sexual misconduct seems similar in each case, occurring while Franken is taking a photograph with the woman and casually gropes them, cupping their breasts.

However as we’ve already witnessed with that infamous photo which started Franken’s downfall, Leeann Tweeden was asleep when the groping occurred, also during a USO tour.

In one of multiple phone calls with a CNN reporter, Kemplin repeatedly broke into sobs.

“I was in a war zone… You were on a USO tour — are you trying to boost the morale of the troops or are you trying to boost your own?” she said. “I just feel so sorry for that young girl in that picture.”

However it’s important to note in this environment of frenzied sexual misconduct, let not forget there’s a distinction between an “allegation” and a “corroborated incident.”

Do you believe politicians like Sen. Al Franken “must resign” when sexual allegations can be proved?
