One thing can be said about President Donald Trump. He's got cajones, and we mean that in a good way.

Monday night Trump fired acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates, an Obama appointee, over her refusal to enforce the president's temporary travel ban on seven mostly Muslim countries that serve as cauldrons for global jihadists.

As usual, the lying media has been trying to stir up public opinion against the president for doing his job, which is to protect the country against terrorism.

What the media isn't saying is that it was former president Barack Obama who laid the legal and political groundwork for Trump's executive order. Not that the truth matters to Trump-hating leftists.

Department of Homeland Security John Kelly later sent shockwaves through Washington in a statement that Immigration Control Enforcement (ICE) Director Daniel Ragsdale, another Obama appointee, has been replaced by Thomas Homan, ICE executive associate director of enforcement since 2003.

“In this capacity, he led ICE’s efforts to identify, arrest, detain, and remove illegal aliens, including those who present a danger to national security or are a risk to public safety, as well as those who enter the United States illegally or otherwise undermine the integrity of our immigration laws and our border control efforts,” Kelly said in the statement.

No explanation was given for the ousting of Ragsdale by the president. Yate's firing needs no elaboration. She refused to uphold the president's temporary travel ban in court, so she had to go.

Trump has sent a clear message to other Obama hold-overs and members of his own party that if they want to keep their jobs, they'd better do their jobs -- his way.

Rare is the president who keeps his word (most of the time) as Trump appears to be doing as he slowly but surely tames the recalcitrant wildlife in Washington, D.C.

Trump wants people who will work with him -- and for America.

Only America's true enemies, both foreign and domestic, have a problem with that.

Please share this on Facebook if you support the president's decision to fire acting Attorney General Sally Yates and ICE Director Daniel Ragsdale.
