It’s election year in the USA, so it’s not unusual to drive down any street and see signs planted in front yards declaring the allegiance of the owners on everything from the presidential race to local ballot measures.

Typically, the red, white and blue of The Stars and Stripes features prominently on the signs leaving no doubt as to the patriotism of the family inside, but drivers on Route 982 in Youngstown, Ohio are not just passing a house with an American flag on a yard sign – they’re passing a house that itself is an American flag proclaiming support of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump!

The owners, Leslie Rossi and her husband, are proud to display their preference for Donald Trump to any and all who drive by with banners and signs in the yard, but it is the red, white and blue house that is the traffic stopper.

The Rossis restore old houses to rent and thought the structure was the perfect size for their pro-Trump message, but they go even farther and pass out Trump buttons, bumper stickers and even his trademark “Make America Great Again” caps.

Youngstown is in the struggling part of the country derisively singled out in 2008 by then-candidate Barack Obama as full of bitter people who cling to guns or religion.”

Trump won the support of Mrs. Rossi, a mother of eight, with his pledge to repeal “Obamacare,” and she says the response from passing motorists shows she’s not alone.

“The overwhelming response has been positive. People drive by and honk their horns and wave and some stop to take pictures and stand on the porch,” Rossi says, adding that a few have even stopped to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

It looks like there are a lot of people who believe that Donald Trump is just the man to help “Make America Great Again!”
