What seems apparent is that National Security Adviser Susan Rice, has become quite expendable, and is once again left to “slowly twist in the wind” by this administration, with yet another public humiliation.

This time about too many “white people”, in top security positions, however before we get to this latest folly of Rice’s obloquy remarks, its worth noting for the record Rice’s long history of embarrassing and rather ridicules public statements.

For example the carnage in Benghazi was caused by a video, rather than what actually took place, that deserter Bowe Berghdahl served with “honor and distention”, and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned speech in front of a joint session of Congress was “destructive” to U.S.-Israel relations.

This latest stupidity simple reaffirms Rice’s willingness to continue being the administration’s “punch line” with her commencement address at Florida International University, saying that a lack of diversity in the those positions puts our country at risk, because they all think alike.

Referring to the criticism that the U.S. national security workforce is "white, male and Yale," Rice told the graduates, "In the halls of power, in the faces of our national security leaders, America is still not fully reflected."

"By now, we should all know the dangers of ‘groupthink,’ where folks who are alike often think alike,” she said. “By contrast, groups composed of different people tend to question one another’s assumptions, draw on divergent perspectives and experiences, and yield better outcomes."

Obviously by those remarks Rice seems to suggest that “race” plays a role within our national security decisions, and if true then her own public statements on those vital national security issue, are equally a reflection of her own race.
