In a world where police are now victims, it’s nice to read a heartwarming story that may actually put a smile on your face and perhaps even a lump in your throat.

Kendra Powell from Georgia was on her way to work, when she spotted a car pulled over to the side of the road, as she got closer she noticed that it was the auto of a state trooper, and that the trunk was open, and there was no immediate visible sign of the officer.

Concerned she drove slowly past the auto attempting to make sure everything was ok, and then stopped and spotted the trooper cleaning is front window.

“I felt compelled, even with everything going on in the media, to stop and make sure he was okay,” she wrote in a Facebook post that has since gone viral.
She continued within her post; “I said good morning and asked if he was okay and needed help,” she wrote.

Powell who by the way is African-American, began chatting with the trooper and commented that he was using the “good stuff,” in cleaning his window which drew a chuckle from the Trooper, who suddenly asked if he could clean her windows, too.

Powell continued in her post; “Every passerby had a stunned expression on their faces,” and some actually stopped and asked if the trooper would also clean their windows.

However perhaps the most emotional moment came when an elderly woman wanted to pay the trooper for cleaning her window, he of course refused however had a request that she pray for him while doing his job.
