Woman Forced To Take Down American Flag After Immigrant Complained, Threatened She Would Lose Her Job
As Americans “we” should all be offended by anyone who suggests that we cannot display a symbol and perhaps “the only symbol” that saved the world from tyranny, and liberated Europe, and the only nation on plant earth that other countries count on to provide aid during both natural and man-made disasters, by using it’s own resources throughout the world, while leading others in humanitarian efforts all across the globe.
However when a proud American like Debbie McLucas is threatened by her employer a Texas hospital with loosing her job for displaying that symbol something is terribly wrong.
McLucas comes from a patriotic family, and both her husband and sons served in the U.S. military. Her daughter is deployed in Iraq as a combat medic.
And as such is proud of her country, however when McLucas arrived at work recently, she found that the flag that hung in her office had been removed.
“I got into work, I was met by my supervisor and told that there had been multiple complaints, that people found the flag very offensive and it had been taken down, “I went to the office to retrieve it and found the flag wrapped around the pole, sitting in the corner on the ground.”
McLucas continued; “I was told that as long as my flag offended one person, it would be taken down,” McLucas claimed. “It is more than I can even fathom, that you would find the American flag offensive in America.”
