Every Presidential candidate, on both sides of the political spectrum, has promised to change things for the "everyday" "average" American. Hillary has promised it. Bernie has screamed it. Trump has vowed it. Cruz has threatened it.

But when it comes to the actual numbers, there can be no lying or vowing about it.

With help from CBS News and Mad World News here are the breakdowns regarding how each candidate, if elected, would affect your day-to-day income.

Hillary Clinton

Hillary's tax and benefits plan wouldn't change your income if you make $20,000 a year. Unfortunately that's such a small percentage of working adults that it hardly matters.

If you make $50,000 a year, Hillary is going to take an extra $1.74. That amount climbs to $2.22 if you make $75,000 and $6.00 a week out of your pocket if you make $100,000.

Bernie Sanders

Bernie's monstrous tax and benefit plan would affect everyone, even the people who are making $20,000 a year.

Those people at the bottom would see an extra $8.81 taken out of their paychecks every 2 weeks. It gets worse. If you make $55,000 a year you're going to see $148.16 fewer per paycheck. Those making $75,000 a year get $188.70 taken out extra, and those making $100,000 a year see $293.80 less per paycheck.

Ted Cruz

Cruz's plan actually gives money back to the people.

If you make $20,000 a year you would see an extra $2.71 every paycheck. $50,000 and you see $55.78 more per paycheck. $75,000 and you see $71.04 more per paycheck and at $100,000 a year you would see an extra $146.90 per paycheck.

Donald Trump

Trump's plan, similar to Cruz's, actually gives the American people more purchasing power. It also helps the poorest people much more than any other candidate.

At $20,000 a year, Trump would see each person get an extra $6.78 per paycheck. $55,000 would get you an extra $85.41 per paycheck. At $75,000 Trump gets you an extra $108.78 and at $100,000 a year Trump would see you get an extra $173.88 per 2 week paycheck.

The numbers are clear. If you want to vote for a candidate who will actually do something to help the everyday people of this country, Trump or Cruz have to be your choice.
