Many of us spend an awful lot of time on social media websites. For some it’s away to keep in touch with friends and family, sharing photos and catching up, for others it’s an opportunity to express ourselves and perhaps share our thoughts about world events, and for others there are those brief “feel good moments” those 20-second video clips to be shared, and that makes us simply smile, regardless of our age, our gender, our politics or our race.
And this is hopefully is one of those clips of a little boy running late rushing to school when he suddenly stops dead in his tracks, just outside the school entrance, when he hears other students inside the classroom reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Kindergartener Royce Thompson of Santa Fe, Texas, ignoring the clock stopped and bowed his sandy-haired head as the Pledge of Allegiance was being recited and prayed in silence just outside the school entrance.
The incredible moment was captured on camera by little Thompson’s mom along with the young child’s short prayer; “Thank you, God. Thank you for giving me a wonderful day,” he prayed.
Jackie Ibanez of “Fox and Friends” reported on that inspiring moment saying; “I give a lot of credit to that mom. She raised a good little boy”…indeed!
IF you think this young man and his family deserve the positive recognition please share this on Facebook.
