Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is a typical liberal who can talk all day about ending poverty but at the end of the day, she's holed up in affluent suburbia, far away from her impoverished constituents.

Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson recently had a field day with Waters after her threat that she was going to take Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson's "ass apart."

Whatever that means.

“[W]aters is a confirmed expert on the question of housing, especially her own housing,” Carlson said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

“Consider where she lives, in a 6,000 square foot, $4.3 million mansion in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles," he added. "Now, how did she afford a place like that after having spent the last 40 years working in government? We hate to speculate. How did she keep getting reelected despite not living in her own Congressional district? No clue there either. The district Waters actually represents in Congress has the second-highest percentage of African-American residents in the state of California.”

South Central, LA, to be precise. You'll know it at the first sign of trash, graffiti, used syringes and broken glass.

WATCH:

Waters, as Carson so accurately points out, is not a servant of her people or the people. She's serves herself first and other members of her own party. Her 40-year stint in politics is further proof of the need for term limits.

Career politicians like "Poverty Pimp" Maxine Waters will ride into office on a wave of popular discontent, only to distance themselves from their constituents and leave them to shift for themselves.

Waters doesn't even have the courage or the integrity to live in the same district that she represents, preferring instead her own rich neighborhood, which is only 6 percent black, Carson asserts.

You might even catch Waters one of these days relaxing in her luxurious living room, watching old episodes of "Mayberry RFD."

Do you think Maxine Waters has done enough to end poverty in her own legislative district that gives her the experience and the qualifications to serve as HUD Secretary? Share your thoughts with us on Facebook and Twitter and in the comment section below.
