Although he’s never worn the uniform, President Trump has quickly become the voice of those men and woman who have for far too long been ignored and forgotten. This Commander-In-Chief, is indeed the “COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF” to all who’ve served their country with honor and distinction, and yesterday was indeed a proud moment for America.

Stuart Varney, the congenial host of Fox Business News, makes no secret of the fact that he’s a big Trump supporter, especially when it comes to reducing corporate and individual tax rates, and getting our economy back on the fast track.

Moreover, Varney is also an unabashed American patriot, and for a former British subject that’s quite an acknowledgment, and yesterday’ was no exception. Selecting to interrupt his show to bring his viewers the historic signing “live” from the White House of President Trump about to sign an executive order giving our nation's veterans the ability to receive medical care from the private sector, rather than depending exclusively on the VA for medical services.

The order titled S.544 “Veterans Choice in Healthcare Act” will give veterans the much-needed flexibility of seeing a doctor promptly.

The president took the opportunity to explain to the media why this bill is necessary.

WATCH:

“The veterans have poured out their blood, and sweat and tears for so long and it’s time that they’re recognized, and it’s time that we now take care of them, and take care of them properly. That’s why I’m pleased today to sign into law the Veterans Choice Program Improvement Act. So this is called the Choice Program Improvement Act. It speaks for itself.”

The President continued: “This bill will extend and improve the veterans choice program so more veterans can see the doctor of their choice. You got it? The doctor of their choice…and don’t have to wait and travel long distances for VA care. Some people have to travel 5 hours, 8 hours, and they’ll have to do it on a weekly basis, and even worse than that. It’s not gonna happen anymore.”

“This new law is a good start but there is still much work to do. We will fight each and every day to deliver the long-awaited reforms our veterans deserve and to protect those who have so courageously protected each and every one of us”.
