WATCH: Texas Judge NAILS IT At Citizenship Ceremony, If You Don’t Like Trump ‘Go to Another Country’
With all the riots and violence directed towards people who support their President-elect Donald Trump it's refreshing to hear the powerful words of a federal judge down in Texas.
He made it more than clear to a group of immigrants who were becoming American citizens that Trump is our President and if they don't like it then they should leave now.
"I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president," said Federal Magistrate Judge John Primomo at the citizenship ceremony in San Antonio. "He will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country."
Judge John Primomo explained his remarks are intended to foster unification here in our nation. The judge also took issue with protestors that say Trump isn't their president. He ripped into NFL players who take a knee during the anthem as well.
"You can protest things that happen in this country; you have every right to. [But] you don't do that by offending national symbols like the national anthem and the flag of the United States," he said.
"The essence of Americans is that you have the right to vote and choose who you want to represent you,” said a person who had came to America legally from Mexico.
We love how this federal judge sends a strong message to immigrants coming into the United States. The people voted for Trump to be our President and the will of the people must be respected by those who wish to live here and become Americans. It's called democracy.
