The one thing about the rabid left they’re forever rewriting history to suit whatever narrative is in vogue especially on those late night talk shows that night owl leftists are so “crazy” about.

Case in point: on Tuesday night “Jimmy Kimmel Live” had legendary great and just recently retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, who acknowledged playing with the president recently.

Which of course feed into the nightly Kimmel narrative of “Trump all the time,” the bland host wanted to know the inside story of how Manning ended up playing golf with the president, as if it were some well guarded state secret.

Manning casual response; “They knew I was in town. The White House called and said, 'Hey, the president would like to play golf with you on Sunday, are you available?”

Manning continued somewhat perplexed; “I got to tell you, Jimmy, I had a lot of people tell me not to do it.”

Kimmel interjected, suggesting that Manning shouldn’t golf with the ‘Commander in Chief” at which point Manning replied, “You did!”

Manning paused a moment and then continued: “I heard Arnold Palmer say one time if the president of the United States ever asks you to play golf, you do it, it's a no-brainer. And it was a fantastic experience. Rode in the motorcade over there and I've never felt safer playing golf. We had 30 golf carts behind us. Felt safe, but he was a great host. He loves sports. And we passed through a number of groups. He was very gracious. He took a picture with groups that we passed through.”

Then saying what most on the rabid left will never understand including Kimmel that not accepting an invitation from the President of The United States would be “almost un-American!”

Manning made it clear he's an American patriot, stating that he played with President George W. Bush before. And that he would accept an invitation to play with Hillary Clinton or President Barack Obama if the opportunity ever presented itself.

Kimmel apparently attempted to regroup with a little gotcha humor asking Manning “Did he cheat? Did he cheat when you played?”

Manning attempting to be gracious responded, “No, I counted his strokes ... he played it honest.”

Do you think late night talk shows like “Jimmy Kimmel Live” have become identical to one another…bashing Trump?
