“Losing” something we love, can have devastating and perhaps negative consequences, however it can also free us emotionally, and it would appear that’s where First Lady Michelle Obama was, within that reflective zone,  usually reserved for those bidding their final farewell  “swan song.”

And thus in her “final address” as First Lady  Michelle Obama last Friday decided to appear in front of an audience of  young immigrants many of whom were Muslim, perhaps hoping someday to become American Citizens.

And although it wasn’t clear if those in attendances were legal or illegal immigrants what was obvious was that Michelle’s ‘feel good” speech had a dual purpose in mind, which the mainstream media made sure to report, that those young immigrants in the audience felt uneasy about President-elect Donald Trump.

WATCH:

“Do not ever let anyone make you feel like you don’t matter, or like you don’t have a place in our American story, because you do,” she said. “Know that this country belongs to you, to all of you, from every background and walk of life. If you or your parents are immigrants, know that you are part of a proud American tradition . . . that has made us the greatest country on Earth.”

Michelle continued; “Religious diversity is “not a threat to who we are, it makes us who we are. “Whether you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh . . . I want our young people to continue to learn and practice those values with pride.”

It was no doubt a positive reinforcement of the American experience that countless generations of immigrants have enjoyed, that experience of assimilating into the fabric of America.

However the Obama’s live in their own delusional world of self-righteous demagoguery when it comes to the recent Muslim experience by our European friends abroad,  attempting to ignore history and what drives this perverse Islamic culture, which in one word is "subjection", not "assimilation", and which is in direct conflict to what Michelle’s speech was all about.

Here's the reality of what Obama's legacy will be:
