Aside from being the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Dr. Aveda King, is a prominent conservative civil rights activist author and former state representative within the Georgia House of Representatives.

And also a political analyst for Fox News, in which she appeared for an interview on Friday on their affiliate station, Fox Business in support of Donald Trump.

“I listened very carefully to everything Mr. Trump has said in the last 72 hours or so and I fully agree with so many of the things that he’s saying. He has taken a page from the book of my daddy, A. D. King, and my uncle Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. looking at the climate, people and really being concerned about what’s happening in every community across America”.

The brief video clip highlights Dr. King’s strong religious roots, and her belief that the politics of liberal Democrats for the last 50-years has virtually destroyed black families.

She references the destruction of progressive policies that encourages welfare rather than a work ethic within the African-American communities, and liking it to “entitlement vs. empowerment!”

Stating a few years back when asked about the plight of African-Americans:

“when I hear Mrs. Senator Hillary Clinton or Mrs. Michelle Obama, or Al Sharpton, or other leading speakers stir up memories of racial unrest and oppression, even when they are pointing out the obvious current racial overtones and undertones that Blacks in America are still facing, I don't hear hope. They don't offer solutions, only more anger, pain and despair.”
