There was a time within the course of a spirited political debate progressives would throw out the “R” word, usually to distract from the issues being debated. It was usually done as a ploy in the hope of rattling their opponent, and it usually worked, until critical thinking well-informed conservatives began to realize the ploy was simply a ruse used by ill-informed, misguided progressives attempting to quickly end the debate and perhaps escape humiliation.

Moreover, their lack of factual substance soon became an open secret among traditional thinking conservatives and thus their “fall-back” tactic of using pejorative and tasteless innuendos as a substitute for their lack of knowledge soon evaporated.

However every now and then, we have a political hack attempting to resurrect this nasty form of “identity politics.” And where better to display this shameless ruse but right there in the halls of Congress, and who better than a New York City Congressman, targeting another fellow New Yorker and millions of his supporters by once again using the “R” word and stating as a point of fact, "every racist in America voted for Donald Trump."

There’s little doubt the one thing the loony left is good at is creating drama, whether it’s a marginal talent like Kathy Griffin holding a mock severed head of the president or a tedious congressman like Hakeem Jeffries attempting to be relevant using the same tired diatribe in referencing President Trump stating; "so many folks dripping in hatred flocked to his candidacy."

Jeffries who represents East New York and Coney Island, continued; "Why would people who worship at the altar of white supremacy [be] drawn to Donald Trump's campaign?"

"That's not to say that every American who voted for Donald Trump is a racist. We do know that every racist in America voted for Donald Trump," Jeffries said. "That's a problem."

Jeffries like other sanctimonious African-American progressives went on to reference former President Obama, and once again played the “race card” while all the while ignoring the 8-years of stagnation for those individuals living within the inner cities…such is the world of progressive dogma.
