There was little doubt that CNN was attempting to once again create controversy by attempting to equate the deaths of Capt. Humayun Khan, killed by a suicide bomb in Iraq, and that of Sean Smith who died in Benghazi.

While both deaths are no doubt tragic, the death of Sean Smith along with U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, stands alone as a testament to what political corruption, when brought to its inevitable conclusion can unleash.

And while there’s been a painful closure in the death of Capt. Khan, for his sacrifice, there’s been none for the families of those killed defending the US Consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012.

Although the brief CNN Video clip attempts to draw a parallel between the two, Smith quickly sets the record straight, leaving the CNN host silent.

Go to 28 second mark to see Patricia Smith's thoughts on a Trump apology to Khan:

However nothing was more evident of the open wound that still exists, then watching Patricia Smith at the RNC tearfully asking why Clinton isn’t in jail, which begs the question why hasn’t CNN, MSNBC, and rest of the media establishment asked Hillary Clinton to publicly apologize to Patricia Smith and the rest of those families for her willful mishandling of Benghazi.

Moreover the ridicules suggestion by CNN to equate Donald Trump’s ill advised remarks on an incident that took place a decade ago, to Hillary’s direct involvement in the deaths of these brave Americans is simply astounding.

SHARE on Facebook if you agree with Patty Smith that Trump owes Khan nothing let alone an apology.
