What is this thing?

That is what the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is wrestling with.

The item is a gun. Yet, is it a pistol or a rifle?

It fired 2-3/4” 12-gauge shotgun shells but lacks a shoulder stock. In its place a Sig brace, thus is does not qualify as a shotgun.

The gun measures 26” and has a forward pistol grip thus it does not qualify as a pistol.

After much debate, this gun is simply a firearm, not a pistol, not a shot-gun, not a short-barrel shot-gun, just a firearm.

You can get one today.

It’ll run you in the $1500.00 range, but it sure looks fun.
