Perhaps the takeaway from this incident isn’t the obvious moronic politically correct antics by these Wal-Mart employees, but rather the Wal-Mart manager who apparently allowed his moronic employees to set store policy, and rather than acting like a store manager and ordering them to make the cake and actually attempted to make the cake himself, and while it’s not clear if this was simply an attempt to counter the bad publicity or not, what is certain is that the Wal-Mart Store in McDonough, Georgia, isn’t a police friendly place to shop.

The incident took place when a police officers daughter wanted a cake made for her dads retirement from the force, and requested a cake with the American flag in black and white with a blue stripe added.

And that’s when the moronic Wal-Mart employees refused saying that her “thin blue line” cake design might be considered racist.

Stating; ”the design could be perceived as racist and nobody feels comfortable decorating the cake!”

The officer’s daughter who wanted to remain anonymous recounted the incident to radio host Todd Starnes saying; “I asked her, ‘Is there something wrong with cops?’” the woman recalled, according to Starnes.

Wal-Mart of course apologized after a Facebook post of the incident went viral, and that’s when the hapless store manager attempted to make the cake they are originally refused.

It appears the only reason this Walmart ended up making the cake is because they got completely shamed by the incident being on Facebook.
