There has been a lot of talk about the way the FBI investigation was carried out and whether or not it was carried out in a correct fashion or if maybe there was some slight of hand to get former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton off the hook. Mark Toner, the spokesman for the State Department that anyone spoke about a "quid pro quo" between the FBI and senior State official Patrick Kennedy involving one or more of Hillary Clinton's emails on her private email server.

Toner even went so far as to call said claim "insulting" as he spoke to the media on Monday.

In addition to denying any talk of a quid pro quo, Toner also said that there was no talk of of any sort of exchange involving classification procedures and FBI positions in U.S. embassies.

Toner's comments are in direct conflict with some information released on Monday that showed a senior State Department official offering up a "quid pro quo" for the declassification of an email from Hillary Clinton's email server. The New York Post reported that this exchange gave the FBI permission to expand its abroad operations.

The information revealed that there was an unnamed individual who was "pressured" to "change the classified email to unclassified."

"(Redacted) indicated he had been contacted by PATRICK KENNEDY, Undersecretary of State, who had asked his assistance in altering the email’s classification in exchange for a 'quid pro quo,'" the 302 document reads. "(Redacted) advised that in exchange for marking the email unclassified, STATE would reciprocate by allowing the FBI to place more Agents in countries where they are presently forbidden."

When RRepublican Rep. Jason Chaffetz spoke with Fox News he referred to the whole situation as a "flashing red light of potential criminality." He is one of many that have demanded a misconduct investigation into the issue as well as Kennedy's removal.

Listen to him in the video below, he make a very good argument.

This entire scandal just continues to run deeper and deeper, exposing more and more corruption surround Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

President Obama, the State Department, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and the FBI are all involved in this 'botched' investigation and we still don't know who else may have dark ties to this huge cover-up. The only thing that we do know is that this whole investigation was rigged to begin with.
