Trump has already shown this country that he has a great deal of respect for our nation's military, which is a nice change of pace from the disgraceful behavior that we saw from Obama and his administration over the past 8 years.

Trump's most recent move to demonstrate his support for our military came in the form of a visit to MacDill Air Force Base in Florida for lunch and to speak with enlisted personnel.

Trump started out light, talking about the Super Bowl and making jokes with the troops. Most soldiers were probably ecstatic to get to sit and chat with their leader and commander-in-chief.

Trump then asked one of the service members at the table if they intended to "make a career" out of his time in the military.

The soldier responded by saying that he was "Still deciding right now, sir."

What Trump said next really caught their attention and the attention of Americans everywhere as his response instantly went viral.

"Come on, you have to stay. You’ll like it better with me there. You’ll see," Trump said to the undecided soldier.

After that, Trump asked the rest of the soldiers at the table the same question and they all gave resounding yes in return.

Trump then went on to deliver his "all hands" U.S. Central Command, or CENTCOM. During the speech Trump made sure to give thanks and show a great deal of respect for the soldiers and their families.

"I want every military family to know that our administration is at your service. We stand with you 100 percent," explained Trump. "We will never, ever let you down."

Trump even went as far as to say that his "highest duty" is to keep the men and women that serve this country safe.

Please share this on Facebook if you agree that this is how a president should treat their soldiers.
