The beautiful and unique thing about America's system of governance is that everyone can air their grievance directly at the political class, whether at the ballot box or in this case at your local council meeting, and so when Francisco Rivera stood up to voice his opinion at the Huntington Park City Council on Monday, the political bureaucrats overseeing the meeting may have thought they had an ally.

Rivera a “legal immigrant” however wasn’t there to support the bureaucrats, who had already usurped the very principles of America’s values by their decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions.

But to rise in protest against the bureaucrats, and perhaps give his unique perspective, in that Rivera is originally from Jalisco, Mexico and he is opposed to honoring those who have broken the laws of the country, stating; “You shouldn’t get special treatment or get rewarded if you break federal laws by coming illegally,” he said in an interview.

The dust-up began earlier this month when council members decided to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions, which caused outrage within the community and an immediate backlash.

Rivera speaking passionately spoke of his personal experience and his love for America, and its laws, here is just a small snippet of his remarks; I can honestly tell you guys, I’ve been here for 35 years, and I’ve looked at you straight in the eyes, every single meeting. I never even knew these guys existed ’til now! I’ve never seen them in my life! All of a sudden they’re gonna get rewarded by breaking federal laws, ladies and gentlemen?
