The Lone Star State isn't alone in its support of federal immigration laws.

Texas recently made headlines when Republicans announced a bill outlawing sanctuary communities had been passed in the state House of Representatives.

The leftist melee that ensued inside and outside the state House in Austin was pure chaos.

Hordes of angry protesters, many proclaiming to be in the U.S. illegally, stormed into the capitol building shouting and waving signs.

Texas Rep. Matt Rinaldi, a Republican supporter of the bill, said he was going to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) because of the undocumented status of protesters.

According to the Dallas News, Democrat Rep. Poncho Navarez allegedly threatened to kill Rinaldi on the floor while shoving him. Another Democrat allegedly said, "I'll put a bullet in your head."

“I made it clear that if he attempted to, in his words, ‘get me,’ I would shoot him in self-defense,” Rinaldi said in the statement he shared on Twitter. “I am currently under DPS protection.

"Rinaldi left the House floor shortly after the incident, and the door to his office was locked, the Dallas News reported. "Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Frisco, said he interrupted the shoving lawmakers when he heard the scuffle.

“This isn’t the schoolyard,” he said. “I just walked right into the middle, and I was begging them, ‘People, please, not on the House floor.’ “

Fallon said he was disappointed that frayed nerves had led to such an inappropriate scene among legislators.

“It’s sad for the last day of the session to go out like that,” he said.

House Speaker Joe Straus, in a prepared statement, said: “There’s no excuse for members making insensitive and disparaging remarks on the floor of the Texas House.”

The political and ethnic battle lines over illegal immigration have been drawn in Austin, quite possibly ground zero of the next civil war.

Democrats appear to have embraced violence as a political tactic and are ready to shed Republican blood.

The fruits of multiculturalism is conflict. On the issues of federal immigration law and enforcement, it's all apples and oranges with open borders Democrats.

Please share your comments on Facebook and Twitter if you think Democrats are planning to escalate the violence against Republicans who support strict enforcement of immigration law.
