If ever there was a president who was able to inspire and humble it was Ronald Reagan.

While telling the parable, A Solitary Life, to a group of children during the 1982 NBC “Christmas in Washington” program, President Reagan did exactly that.

In telling the tale, he relayed what hope and change really mean, and that is found in the story of the birth and death of the Christian Savior, Jesus Christ.

A man who changed the world, forever, and gave great hope to humanity, and whose life we celebrate this day.

Merry Christmas and God Bless.
