VIDEO: Obama Blames Bush For The Rise Of ISIS
Here we go again! It’s “Bush’s fault”, seems to be Obama’s continued narrative for his inability to govern, and it’s quite a brazen attempt to once again rewrite history.
Obama speaking recently in an interview attempted to once again fudge the facts; "ISIL is a direct outgrowth of al Qaeda in Iraq that grew out of our invasion which is an example of unintended consequences -- which is why we should generally aim before we shoot. We've got a sixty country coalition. We will slowly push back ISIL out of Iraq. I'm confident that will happen”.
And those “unintended consequences” is of course a direct reference to the war in Iraq, that Obama inherited from the Bush Administration, of course what Obama seems to overlook is that Iraq was relatively stable when he took office, and that the “surge” had been successful in stabilizing the region, and although fragile all Obama had to do was stay the course and listen to his military advisors, all of whom had advised the president to keep a sizable contingency force in place, upon withdrawal of combat troops. Of course he ignored the advice, leaving a void that was almost immediately filled by his own definition “a junior varsity team, known today as ISIS.
The irony of course is that the man he blames, actually predicted in 2007 that if the next Commander and Chief pulled out of Iraq without keeping a contingency force in place, that a void would be created “To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region and for the United States,”
Bush cautioned. “It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. “It would mean we allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan”.
History is always difficult to fudge, especially when there are videos easily available, however for Obama it’s never about the facts but rather about the appearance.
