VIDEO: Obama Admin. Admits It Does NOT Screen Refugees For Radical Views
It should come as no surprise that the government administration that President Barack Obama has appointed isn't screening refugees as tightly as it could. Obama's stated goals are to bring in lots of refugees to the United States and anything that gets in the way of that goal.
As part of that desire to simply bring refugees into the country, a key member of Obama's administration who is in charge of immigration recently admitted that his department doesn't do any kind of screening for radical views when interviewing refugees.
Simon Henshaw is the deputy assistant secretary of the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migrants. That's a small bureau that resides in the State Department chain of command--obviously directly under Obama's watchful eye.
Henshaw was questioned in a House hearing about the practices of his bureau in regards to refugees. When asked if refugees are questioned about honor killings or female genital mutilation, both radical practices, he responded with a non-answer.
"On all questions, we make it clear to refugees that we are a nation of laws and that they need to comply with our laws."
Those same refugees, it turns out, are often illiterate and uneducated, not something that disqualifies them, but far afield from the liberal narrative that is being spun about refugees in America.
Obama's administration would have the American public believe that these people coming in are doctors, lawyers and professionals from other countries. The truth is the exact opposite. These people can't even read or write in their own languages. How are they supposed to learn English and integrate into American society and be a benefit to their communities?
As Senator Jeff Sessions, part of the questioning committee remarked, "Well if they are illiterate in their home country, then the aren’t likely to be a police officer the next week in the United States are they?"
We need to be more careful about these refugees. Otherwise we're just setting ourselves up for a nasty time in the future.
