Newt Gingrich has never been one to beat around the bush. During his time as Speaker of House of Representatives, love him or hate him, truth be told, the man got things done. Good things.

Now he is out and about speaking to the American people regarding the recent terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California. “What happened in California was an act of war,” he said.

There are probably not too many of us that would disagree with that statement.

“It was an attack on America by people who want to destroy our way of life,” he also said.

Not just our way of life, the terrorists want to eradicate us all from the face of the earth.

In the course of this discussion, while speaking with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, December 4th, Gingrich also said that “We need to drop this notion that there are these random terror acts.”

Later, he went on, “And once we get this in our head—these are acts of war going on. These are people, there are a thousand cases of people preparing to wage war against the United States.” As for our leadership, they all live in a fantasy world and, “…are incapable of understanding the reality of the world we live in.”

He also reminds us that despite our arrogant and sneering president accusing those cautious about the mass importation of what can only be called poorly and surficial-ly vetted refugees, of being afraid of women and children, that San Bernardino, clearly, but tragically vindicated us.

“Here’s a woman who pledges her loyalty to ISIS on her way to kill Americans. Maybe the president will face reality and understand the Republicans who are worried about women terrorist are right.”

Sadly, our president appears incapable of any sort of admission of error. If anything, he took the California terrorist attack as a prize for his rabid goal of desecrating our Second Amendment.

Nothing and nobody matters to that man other than himself and what he wants.
