VIDEO: Gowdy Says Obama And These 6 Obama Admin. Officials Could Be Real Source Of Flynn Leaks
The noose appears to be tightening around the political necks of six Obama administration officials, and Congressman Trey Gowdy is doing the squeezing.
On Monday, Gowdy grilled these former Obama underlings during a House Intelligence Committee hearing, hoping to reveal the source of leaks that brought about the resignation of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn over his "Russian contacts."
"Leaks are illegal and they are dangerous and they are deleterious to our national security," Gowdy told Fox News recently. "Leaks are going to destroy surveillance programs that ensure national security."
The Republican Tea Party member from South Carolina asked Comey if former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper "knew the name of the U.S. citizen that appeared in the New York Times and Washington Post ... [who] would have access to an unmasked name."
The former prosecutor then asked Comey if he "briefed President Obama on any calls involving Michael Flynn."
“I’m not going to go get into either that case or any conversations I had with the president,” Comey answered.
Nice dodge, Comey. You might as well have pleaded the Fifth.
Gowdy had similar questions for former CIA Director James Brennan, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former White House Adviser Ben Rhodes, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and former acting Attorney General Sally Yates.
According to Fox News Insider, earlier in the hearing, Comey said he had "received authorization from the Justice Department to confirm that there is an ongoing investigation into possible 'coordination' between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia."
To what end? Clearly, it is to destroy Donald Trump, either by forcing him to resign or bringing about his impeachment.
So far, the investigation has turned up empty and will likely continue to bear zero fruit. Regarding Flynn, it's one thing to have had routine contact with a Russian official as a sitting senator. It is quite another to lie to your boss about it.
While Gowdy didn't actually name these people as suspects, he is hoping to catch the Obama "Gang of Six" in a lie.
And Gowdy is very good at what he does: exposing hidden facts and statements bordering on perjury.
Please share this on Facebook if these Obama administration officials may know more about illegal leaks to the media than they are willing to admit in sworn testimony.
