The video above shows the closing remarks segment from last night's GOP debate. This sometimes offers the best chance for those vying for election to leave a lasting impression on the attendees and viewers. The segment starts with Ohio governor John Kasich, who was firm and strong and seemed to boost himself with his closing remarks, but it was Dr. Ben Carson, who spoke a few minutes later, who had the crowd laughing with his comments on the state of Washington insider politics.

“I’m the only one to separate Siamese twins,” Carson said, “the only one to operate on babies while they were still in the mother’s womb, the only one to take out half of a brain – although you would think, if you go to Washington, someone had beaten me to it.” said Carson. It sure does seem that way, doesn't it? Some might not agree, of course.

It's still very early and this debate probably didn't do too much to change people's minds about who they favor for election in 2016, but it's still far from over.
