Those who have spent time in the NFL will tell you it's no place for softies. The hard hits may leave some to think these athletes must be made of stone, but that's not always the case.

A much praised and unfairly maligned quarterback Tim Tebow made a heartwarming gesture to a Leukemia stricken fan, Nathaniel Nelson, age 13, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia this August.

Tim's foundation released a statement after the visit: “[Nathaniel] loves the Gators and Tim Tebow and it's amazing to see his dream come true. I can't thank you enough...this teenager truly captured my heart and he is such a fighter!”

God bless you, Tim Tebow!
