Less than 48-hours after Kim Jong-Un test-launched the latest intercontinental ballistic missile – one that could reach not only Alaska and the West Coast, but well into the heartland of the United States possibly all the way to Chicago – President Trump conducted a test of his own designed to make the deranged North Korean leader think twice about taking aim at the U.S.

Although Air Force spokesmen say the test had been planned for some time prior to Friday’s test by North Korea, if so, the timing could not have been better.

The rogue state has increased the pace of its nuclear program, firing 18 missiles in 12 tests in the past six month, improving on accuracy and distance with each shot.

But with the successful test of the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) missile-defense system over the Pacific, the U.S. is sending a message of its own, not only to Kim, but to the world.

It was the 15th success in as many tests for the THAAD system, which is based at Kodiak, Alaska.

The test involved setting THAAD up against a medium-range ballistic missile launched by the Air Force over the Pacific.

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency reported that the missile was “detected, tracked and intercepted” successfully by THAAD according to Lt. Gen. Sam Greaves, director of the agency.

“In addition to successfully intercepting the target, the data collected will allow [the Missile Defense Agency] to enhance the THAAD weapon system, our modeling and simulation capabilities, and our ability to stay ahead of the evolving threat.”

The test was conducted under the same conditions and using the same operations as would occur during actual combat.

Leaders around the world, including the United Nations, condemned the test as destabilizing and North Korea’s financial ally, China, urged Kim to stop taking actions that would escalate tensions” on the Korean Peninsula.

With Kim showing no signs of regarding any verbal warnings, the ballistic missile defense system must continued to be a top priority of Congress that is funded and tested often, ready to be deployed if and when Kim is through with testing his warheads.

Please SHARE to Facebook to let people know the importance of continuing tests of the missile defense system that protects us from attack by North Korean madman, Kim Jong-Un. With every test, he gets closer to  his goal of wiping out the U.S.
