Trump’s Religious Speaker Choice Is First Of It’s Kind Since Ronald Regan
The mainstream media is very selective in the facts that they choose to report on Donald Trump, focusing on whichever allegations or slanted presentation of facts the left wants to hear. Of course they steer far away from the good deeds that Trump is famous for and the other monumental moves that Trump is doing to make America great again.
You may have not heard through the mainstream media that it seems that Trump is on the path to creating one of the most pro-women cabinets this country has ever seen. But why would you hear about that? Trump's just a sexist misogynist pig, according to the left.
However, just as intriguing is this monumental move that Trump is making with his inauguration. It's something this country hasn't seen since Ronald Regan.
As it stands now, Trump's inauguration will be the most faith centered inauguration in a very long time. Trump is set to have six religious speakers that include Franklin Graham, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, pastor Paula White and Rev. Samuel Rodriguez of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
The most notable religious speaker that Trump will have is actually Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. It's been over 30 years since there has been a Jewish rabbi praying at the presidential inauguration.
Before Trump's inauguration the last rabbi to pray was Rabbi Alfred Gottschalk, head of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, at the Ronald Regan presidential inauguration ceremony back in 1985.
JTA.org had this to say:
Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, will offer a prayer at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Hier reportedly will offer readings, recite an original prayer and give Trump and incoming Vice President Mike Pence each a benediction at the Jan. 20 ceremony.
“Since the first inaugural ceremony, our leaders have paid tribute to the blessings of liberty that have been bestowed upon our country and its people,” Tom Barrack, the chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, said in a statement issued Wednesday announcing the six faith leaders who will participate in the inauguration. “I am pleased to announce that a diverse set of faith leaders will offer readings and prayers at the swearing-in of President-elect Trump and honor the vital role religious faith plays in our multicultural, vibrant nation.”
Hier and his Wiesenthal Center earlier this week called the U.S. abstention on a United Nations Security Council Resolution condemning Israel for settlement building the top anti-Semitic incident of 2016.
This will surely get through to the UN and the rest of the liberals like Obama that decided to back stab our close ally Israel. Furthermore, it is reported that Donald Trump has invited the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Trump's inauguration. This could be quite the showing, especially if he were to be sat next to Obama.
It is good to see Trump making the right moves to unite this nation and to try to mend and strengthen our country's international relationships, especially those once strong relationships such as the one we have with Israel that Obama has worked tirelessly to destroy over his past 8 years as president.
Luckily, we only have a few more days with President Obama until we can finally see him out of office for good. We can only hope he doesn't have any more dastardly tricks up his sleeve to try to make an even bigger mess for Trump to cleanup when he finally does take office.
Please share this on Facebook if you think Trump has potential to be one of the most historic presidents we've seen in a long time.
