Trump’s Private Jet Comes To The Aid Of Seriously Ill Child When Commercial Airlines Would Not.
Imagine being the parent of a child that falls ill and not a single medical expert in the country can figure out what is wrong. Imagine that child not getting better, and for inexplicable reasons survives with the aid of, “an elaborate life-support system, which includes a portable oxygen tank, suction machine, a breathing bag and an adrenaline syringe.” None of us parents can imagine that.
This is the case of Avraham Moshe “Andrew” Ten, who is but 3 years old. No one knows what is wrong. He and his parents, Judy and Harold needed to get their child to the Schneider Children’s Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, with the hope that they might be able to diagnose Andrew and get him on the mend.
They fell on the mercy of commercial airlines to aid them with his transport. None would. It is said that they were unable to transport him due to the life support system discussed above. The nightmare of parents-helplessness.
Andrew’s parents managed to make contact with Donald Trump, and asked for his assistance. Without hesitation the family was provided Trump’s very own Boeing 727. The plane carried the child and his parents from Los Angles to La Guardia this past Tuesday.
“Because he is a good man. He has three children of his own and he knows what being a parent is all about” said Harold Ten of Donald Trump. Ten goes on to explain a Talmudic belief that “he who saves one person’s life is as if he saved the entire world.”
Like him or not, Donald Trump did something that is absolutely wonderful. He came to the aid of a family in need. Many in the media will likely call this a media stunt, and politicize the situation. Obviously, in light of the times, politics is not easily overlooked and is the go-to criticism tool of choice.
Win or lose an election, Trump won the ultimate prize, and that is helping a fellow human being in their time of great need. A lesson we should all take to heart.
Many prayers for little Avraham.
