Trump Says “I’ll Be Doing a Great Service to Our Country” If “B-Actor” Lena Dunham’s Relocates To Canada
The one thing you can always be assured of within the progressive community especially among the celebrity class is “drama, drama and more drama”
And this week the prize goes to “B-List” celebrity Lena Dunham, who announced on Monday that she would “100% move to Canada if “The Donald” became president.
Dunham now joins a growing number of some pretty unimpressive actors, singers, and a few “has-been” celebrities who may be simply looking for a little extra free press.
And of course Trump being Trump responded during a Tuesday interview with Fox and Friends, when informed about Dunham’s threat; “Well, she’s a B-actor. She has no mojo, I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that too. That would be a great, great thing for our country.”
When host Steve Doocy mentioned that Rosie O’Donnell had vowed to also move to Canada if he were elected, Trump chuckled.
“We’ll get rid of Rosie? I love it,” he said. “Now I have to get elected, because I’ll be doing a great service to our country. Now it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”
Other celebrities who have threatened to move to Canada if Trump is elected include George Lopez, Eddie Griffin, Cher, and the Rev. Al Sharpton.
In February, Donald Trump Jr. told Fox and Friends that these particular celebrities’ threats to flee the country are the “greatest endorsements ever” for his father’s campaign and offered to buy their airfare.
