So much for making fun of Republican presidential candidate, and front-runner, Donald Trump and his “lack” of foreign policy experience.

Back in January, while speaking with one of Fox News’ other femme fatales, Maria Bartiromo, and in response to her asking him about concern in alienating a group of people, meaning Muslims, Trump said “I tell the truth.” He went on with the following.

“There is someone going on,” with respect to Muslims.

“Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Sharia law, where they want this, where they want thing that, you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.”

Damn straight, there is. It’s called the governments, throughout Europe, the European Union, and disgustingly right here in United States, refusing to acknowledge that there is problem in the Muslim community.

Trump continued, “You go to Brussels—I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful—it’s like living in a hellhole right now.”

Trump is not a dumb as many have chocked him up to be. He has great instincts. If he didn’t he wouldn’t be a billionaire.

There is much to be said for instinct, and certainly much to consider in light Brussels.

Now, if he would just stick to the smart meaningful stuff like this, and quit with the junior high stupidity, he might be taken a little more seriously by the media.

Then again, he probably doesn’t care how they take him, and there is certainly something to be said for that.
