One of the most effective political weapons within the progressive tool-chest is of course using the “emotional card” to paint conservatives as cruel and heartless, and of course human-nature being what it is, it usually works.

In that no one wants to see a child, any child harmed or in distress, however to use that image to exploit a crisis for political expediency is unconscionable!

It’s within that narrative that Trumps position on immigration and our national security must be viewed, when he says he could tell a Syrian refugee child, to their face no, you “can’t come” to America.”

Monday in Salem, New Hampshire, Trump argued that because “we don’t know where their parents come from” their children can’t come.

An attendee asked Trump, “I’m wondering if you would be able to look at these children in the face and tell them that they’re not allowed to go to school in a community?”

“I can look at their faces and say you can’t come,” Trump replied. Arguing, “We don’t know where their parents come from. They have no documentation.”

Trump continued; “But you look at that and you say we have enough problems, now I believe, look I have a bigger heart than anybody in this room and I think what we do is we take an area in Syria or numbers of areas and we do safe zones.”

Moreover in light of the recent carnage in both Paris and in San Bernardino, and the continued violence of rapes and assaults in Europe by marauding Muslim refugees, it would be a willful dereliction of duty for any leader of any country to risk the lives and well-being of its citizens.
