Perhaps we should preface this article by stating at the outset that no matter how factually incorrect or historically wrong Khizr Khan might be, you cannot win the argument when the focus is on the death of his soldier son Capt. Humayun Khan, and that’s the hard lesson (once again), “the Donald” is learning.

Khan’s ridiculous statement to CNN’s Jim Acosta stating that terror has “nothing to do with Islam,” is obviously not true, and his appearance at the Democratic National Convention was simply a propaganda stunt and no different then what the Republican National Convention did a week prior.

Victims and their families always sell well regardless of the party or Ideology, and Trump should have stayed clear of this.

Khan’s lengthy comments about Islam, terrorism and Muslim’s in general, is right out of the Obama playbook, and the only difference is the tragic death of his son, which of course renders any factual discourse on the topic irrelevant to the mainstream media, who’s only focus is to hammer Trump.

Khan’s apparent delusional concept of Islam, is perhaps best expressed by his own statement:

In addition to this, there was in the speech that my good wife asked me to refrain from saying, I wanted to say we reject all violence. We are faithful, patriotic, undivided loyalty to this country. We reject all terrorism. She asked me not to say that because that was not the occasion for such a statement. We say to his ignorance, I address his ignorance, that the dirt effect, the most effect of the menace of terrorism have been Muslims in the world, Muslims hate this menace of terrorism as much as any other place. It is our duty to keep this country, our country, beautiful country, safe.

We have always thought of [it] that way, we will continue to do our part to keep it safe and beautiful. What he cites in the name of Islam, and all that — that is not Islam at all! I wish he would have, somebody would have put something in his head that these are terrorists, these are criminals, these folks have nothing to do with Islam.

Trump in face of the media attacking him responded:

“Captain Humayun Khan was a hero to our country,” adding: “The real problem here are the radical Islamic terrorists who killed him.” Khan “has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution (which is false).”

He followed the statement with this remark on Twitter:

Khan can be seen in the same interview claiming that Trump has a 'black soul':

Do you think Khizr Khan has the expertise to speak on radical Islam? Sound off in the comments below and share on Facebook if you think this father is out of line.
