Although it’s been awhile since we last heard publicly from Rep. Trey Gowdy, rest assured that the chairman of the U.S. House Select Committee on Benghazi is getting his ducks in a row for the October showdown with presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Who has been quite busy of late attempting to distance herself from yet another scandal and potential direct criminal involvement in the destruction and mishandling of top secret and classified emails, which in all probability includes vital information on Benghazi.

Gowdy speaking in response to Clinton’s insistence that she will only appear before the committee once to testify, drew a quick response from the chairman; “she’s going to be there a while.”

He went on to clarify that everyone involved in the hearing will “stay there until all of the questions” have been adequately answered.

Gowdy has already demonstrated that he’s not someone to be taken lightly, and now with the email scandal taking center stage and being investigated by the FBI, the possibility to actually uncover additional information leading up to and perhaps during the 2012 attack on our U.S. embassy in Benghazi, is a real possibility in getting to the truth, noting that he must “make sure that the public record is complete.”
