Tommy Hilfiger Just Went To Bat For Melania Trump BIG TIME, Shuts Down French Designer Trying To Boycott Her For ABSURD Reason
Recently French designer Sophie Theallet announced that she would never again be working with Melania Trump. well it seems that her sentiment wasn't felt by many other influential names in the fashion industry, such as Tommy Hilfiger, who had one epic response to Theallet's boycott.
American designer, age 65, said that any designer “should be proud” to dress Melania Trump, according to Women's Wear Daily.
“I think Melania is a very beautiful woman and I think any designer should be proud to dress her,” said Hilfiger.
When Hilfiger was addressing a crowd at the Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday, he continued by saying, “I don’t think people should become political about it.”
Hilfiger's comments followed Theallet's attack on President-elect Donald Trump where she said she would no longer work with his wife Melania, and she tried to encourage others to follow in her footsteps.

During Trump's campaign Melania was spotted wearing the number of high-profile designers' lines, including Ralph Lauren, Gucci, and Fendi. It’s hard to believe that designers like these will follow this moronic liberal attempt to boycott such an iconic name in the fashion industry.
What's even more interesting, and what really makes Theallet look like a fool, is the fact that she's never been asked to dress Melania. So all this is, really, is just another excuse for liberals to get on their high horse and push their own liberal agendas without any basis.
This will most likely only hurt Theallet instead of get the intended reaction if she desires.
In fact, it would seem that the backlash against cell a has already come about. A designer boutique in Rye, New York, Angela’s, has already announced that they will no longer be carrying Theallet’s collection in the store. The store’s owner, Angela Guitard, wrote an email to Theallet in response to the open letter, pointing out that Theallet was using social media to promote her line end try to push her own political views on others, as reported by Newsmax.
Hilfiger couldn’t have been more right when he said it would have been an honor to dress Melania Trump, our nation's first lady, but naturally, Hillary supporters and other liberals around the country are still too upset and would rather just how it and wine then see the reality of the situation.
Please share the story on Facebook if you think Melania Trump be an excellent first lady for this country.
