“This is our history,” said one resident, “They’re trying to in a sense, not rewrite, but just take away that part of our history.”

Heritage and history, not hate. That's the message the people of Loxahatchee, Florida want lawmakers to hear, so they gathered in support of the flag they say represents a part of their families past. “Read up on what it’s about, ... It’s about fighting for what’s right.” said Tracy Casey, a resident of nearby Loxahatchee Groves.

The rally where around 200 supporters were in attendance comes just one day after the Confederate flag was taken down by government order in South Carolina.

More and more citizens are saying 'enough is enough' when it comes to this whole flag nonsense, hopefully we will see more of this trend in the future.
