Most of us thanks in part to the media, and of course to  the blockbuster movie “American Sniper” have some sense of the extraordinary  skill it takes to hit a target over 850 meters away.

It’s a skill that takes years to master, however not even the most skilled sniper could have imagined the event that was about to unfold as a British sniper drew a bead on his target an enemy combatant from his sniper’s nest in Southern Afghanistan.

And as he slowly squeezed off a round, little did he know that the target he was about to hit would blow up killing all six of the enemy.

Apparently the well placed round hit the vest of a suicide bomber which in turn detonated the explosives, call it luck or simply intervention from a higher authority.

Simply incredible.
