This One Scientific Discovery Is Crushing Global Warming Arguments Everywhere
What happened to the news about the Antarctic ice shelf shrinking, and endangered penguins? That seems to have dropped off the face of the earth in favor for Arctic ice shelf happenings.
One theory as to why the Antarctic has been left out in the cold (pun intended), is because the ice shelf is growing and has been for the last two years. This despite the water having warmed.
“The overwhelming evidence is that the Southern Ocean is warming, “says Jinlun Zhang (University of Washington). “Why would sea ice be increasing? Although the rate of increase is small, it is a puzzle to scientists.”
Zhang has a theory, and that is wind;
“The polar vortex that swirls around the South Pole is not just stronger than it was when satellite records began in the 1970s, it has more convergence, meaning it shoves the sea ice together to cause ridging.”
In short, all this wind, which is undoubtedly super cold, cools the waters, and
“...creates thicker, longer-lasting ice, while exposing surrounding water and thin ice to the blistering cold winds that cause more ice growth” Journal of Climate press release).
Of course, the climate “experts” have no answer as to why the wind at the South Pole has increased. One thing is for certain, it puts a bit of crimp in their whole human caused climate change theory, and of course the climate-Nazis just resort to non-scientific answers. Again we have Zhang,
“If the warming [presumably of the water] continues, at some point the trend will reverse.”
What if it doesn’t Zhang? How will you blame the earth doing what it does on humans next? Will you go back to the ice-age fear mongering of a few decades ago?
