“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land” said CAIR Director Herman Mustafa Carroll.
Well, well, well. In the words of the Church Lady, "Isn't that special."  Or better yet, Homey the Clown, "Homey don't play that."

Hate to break it to him, but Mr. H.M. Carroll is mistaken.  Majorly mistaken.  Guess what, Mr. Carroll? Texans don't play that way either.  In fact, they so don't play that way that they just took your Sharia-ball, popped it, and told you to take what is left of it and go home. Literally.  Take your Sharia law back to your Sharia land and go Sharia yourselves.

The other absolutely fabulous part of this, is the bill was crafted by a woman!  Who we all know Sharia law hates!  That really has to goad Mr. Carroll, which rather elevates the awesomeness of what Republican State Senator Donna Campbell did even more.  She crafted a bill that said international law has no place in Texas.

When the term international law and CAIR come together and sit down around the poker table, we all know what is meant.  It means CAIR wants Sharia law because they are "above the law of the land" and Texas wants them to take their 7th century way of life back to wherever it came from.

State Senator Donna Campbell

Naturally, our liberal hand-wringing brothers and sisters are all up in arms about offenses to Muslims.  Never-mind the offense to the American people by allowing some centuries-old throwback quasi-religious legal system to exert its will over the American people.

Anybody ever notice that for all their faux-fended whining about "separation of church and state" libs have nothing to say when it comes to Islam and Sharia law and its overtly religious legal systems?

No matter.  Senator Campbell won the game of Texas Hold-em and Sharia folded.
