The day has finally come and Hillary Clinton has announced her candidacy to be President of the United States.

While many liberals and progressives see her candidacy as a natural step and applaud her experience as a leader in government circles, others are more quick to point out some troubling issues from her past.

Aside from suspect dealings regarding her own private email server, the Benghazi investigation, and other shady dealings in her past, this article, by The Gateway Pundit, shows just some of the tacky and disgusting gaffes that Hillary has made over the years.

While many of the quotes can be summed up simply with dollar signs, hashtags, and “@” signs (in other words Hillary curses like a sailor), others are alarming because they show the true nature of what’s going on inside Hillary’s head.

In one quote, Hillary shows that she’s not afraid of putting forth her own revisionist version of history, especially when it relates to her husband’s legacy as a president. “It’s been said, and I think it’s accurate, that my husband was obsessed by terrorism in general and al-Qaeda in particular.”

Still other quotes are laughable, simply because it’s clear that Hillary has no idea how incredible her words sound to the public. Of particular note is this quote: “Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?!”

Why, Hillary? Well it’s because you keep doing shady and tacky things, that’s why. If you didn’t do shady things people wouldn’t think you were a liar.

Here’s a quote that shows Hillary’s struggle to prioritize the importance of her actions, something that will be vitally important if she wants to be president. “Put this on the ground! I left my sunglasses in the limo. I need those sunglasses. We need to go back!” The context behind the quote is that Hillary was riding in the helicopter Marine One, when she realized that she’d left her beloved sunglasses behind.

“The only way to make a difference is to acquire power.” This quote shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s watched Hillary weather scandal after scandal only to somehow believe that she’s still electable in a public office.

And as a final quote I believe this one perfectly captures Hillary’s vision for America and her trust of the American people. “We just can’t trust the American people to make those types of choices…. Government has to make those choices for people.”

Sorry, Hillary. It is up to the American people to make choices, especially regarding the president. And if everyone knew what you really thought about her role in political leadership, they wouldn’t vote for you.
