Much like the fictional underdog Rocky Balboa, who became heavyweight champion against overwhelming odds in the iconic Rocky films, so has Donald Trump, except this is real life, and on January 20th the once “overwhelming underdog” will become the 45th President of the United States.

Moreover in attendance to help celebrate President-elect Trump’s New Years Eve bash was the creator, writer and actor Sylvester Stallone, who perhaps best personifies through those epic films what perseverance and true grit against overwhelming odds can accomplish.

President-elect Trump along with the future First Lady Melania and their 10-year old son Barron hosted an intimate little gathering for about “800 guests” at President-elect Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

Stallone was in attendance along with his brother Frank who’s also an actor and accomplished musician; saying that the former businessman man now president will do "great things for this country".

Frank also posted a brief video clip of himself stating that he and his brother Sylvester have been invited to spend the evening with the President and his family.

The New Year’s gala was selling for about $500 per person, not bad for an evening with the future President and his family.

Another Trump supporter music producer Qunicy Jones was another guest scheduled to attend the New Years Eve festivities, however decided to spend the evening with his family in Los Angeles instead.

“I love Donald Trump,” he said. “He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean? There are certain people like Arnold, Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life.” - Stallone

Sylvester's brother Frank is also on the Trump train and was invited to the NYE bash:
