SHOCKING: Retired Air Force General Says Obama Has ‘Unilaterally Disarmed America’
If you were asked the question "What country in the world has the greatest military capability and resources?" what would be your answer? Would you reply the United States, or would your answer be China, Russia, or some other foreign power?
According to retired Air Force General Tom McInerney, the answer no longer is the United States.
McInerney spoke recently about the United States' military capability and said that the U.S. has been "unilaterally disarmed" under President Barack Obama's policies and actions.
"It’s a slap in the face to the United States," he said.
The former general and Fox News analyst went even further, saying that the United States can no longer be relied on to protect its allies. The current military policy, he said, is to "protect your enemies and deny your allies support."
McInerney's comments are, at the least disturbing. If taken in their full-strength, they are frightening beyond measure.
The United States used to be respected and feared the world over because of our capability to perceive international threats and reduce those threats before they became a problem. Under President Obama and other liberal policies, however, the U.S.'s military presence has been neutered and dismantled.
General McInerney spoke about the way that the U.S. military and the government handled the riot situation in Benghazi, Libya and the death and destruction that followed.
"Where was our great Air Force? Where was America to help these people?" asked McInerney.
General, we couldn't put the question better.
Where has the United States been, militarily, these last few years under Obama? Sure, many people disagreed with President George W. Bush's actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it's becoming ever clearer that when Obama saw the same intel he agreed with President Bush to keep troops in those areas.
Now, instead of giving our military the strength and resources it needs, Obama has dismantled the military. Thanks, Obama.
