Shocking Reaction After Muslims Freak Out When Restaurant Puts Up Bacon Sign.
One could imagine that the scent and sound of crisp bacon waffling through Winooski Vermont, would perhaps send most Muslims into overdrive, but a sign with the word “Bacon”, to be precise “Yield Sneakers Bacon” apparently outraged a Muslim woman who took to an online community forum to complain about the sign.
The sign was put up as part of a city program promoting the beautification of the township where businesses have helped in maintaining the city flowerbeds, and as a reward allowing those businesses to post an advertisement.
Now to most red blooded Americans “bacon and eggs” is as American as “apple pie” however after the complaint the sign was pulled down, and it seems that the restaurant owner would rather retreat then stand up for what the U.S. Constitution affords him the right to display his sign.
As for the complaint the woman wrote “Given the large number of Muslim families in Winooski, as well as many others who do not eat pork for a variety of reasons, it seems unnecessary for this insensitive business sign to be at the city’s main crosswalk.”
However according to the Burlington Free Press a local publication within the community, the customers that frequent the restaurant were not happy with the owners decision to cut and run, and many vowed to never eat at the restaurant again.
Obviously the sign is endemic of a much larger issue that seems prevalent within the Muslim culture, and in particular within Sharia law, in that intimidation, bullying and threat seem to be the methodology in changing attitudes and rather than assimilating into American culture and understanding the freedoms that America offers, Muslims demand that Americans submit to their standards.
It seems what is taking place in little towns and villages like Winooski Vermont, and all across America, is the transformation of our core principles, today it’s a sign in front of a store, tomorrow it’s our flag in the corner of a classroom and the day after that?
