If there was any doubt as to where the Democratic Party stands between those brave men and woman in blue, and the criminals that threaten us all, it was certainly cleared up the other night, and no doubt the very reason why law-abiding American’s need to stand behind law enforcement and the need to protect our Second Amendment rights.

Moreover what the average American tuning in to the convention witnessed was the stark contrast between two diametrically opposed philosophies that in essence will decide the course our society will take for decades to come.

And that stark reality was once again eloquently however bluntly made clear my Sheriff David Clarke’s reaction to Sen. Cory Booker's speech, stating Booker; "talked all around a big problem for the Democrats - and that is their flawed candidate, Mrs. Bill Clinton."

Clarke once again reminded the viewers of the glaring contract between the two parties, stating that Trump is the "law and order" candidate, while the Clinton gang “seems to be about embracing criminality and criminal behavior, trying to mainstream criminal behavior."

However perhaps the biggest contrast between Democrat’s and Republican’s is how they view a civil society and the choices they’ve made in support of that society, in that last evening the effaces was on honoring criminality and embracing for the most part mothers of those individuals who refused to live within the bounds of a civil and decent society and paid for it with their lives.

Ironically perhaps the most glaring example of how progressives have failed those of us attempting to live within that society is Clinton’s embrace of Michael Brown’s mother, the young African-American thug who was caught on video surveillance committing a strong-armed robbery, and was later shot by a police officer who was fighting for his life, which also created the false narrative of “hands up don’t shoot,” that is still embraced by the loony left as fact.

There’s no doubt that the pain of losing a child, regardless of how it happened is real, however the pain of losing a police officer in the line of duty is just as real, and if anything should be held in high esteem, as a symbol that stands between a civil society or depraved anarchy.

It should also be noted that Michael Brown’s mother was also accused of strong-armed robbery back in 2014, part of a family feud over “merchandising” of Michael Brown’s tee-shirt; perhaps her appearance at the convention will allow her to sell more merchandise…grieving does have its rewards.

John J. McNesby, President of Philadelphia Lodge #5 of the Fraternal Order of Police was not too pleased at how the DNC gave so much time to the mothers of black men, most notablly Michael Brown's mother, who had been killed by police while committing crimes.

McNesby and others are asking why Hillary Clinton didn't invite the widows of police officers murdered in the line of duty to address their pain at the DNC as well.

“It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country," he wrote.

“Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible."
