If recent history is any gauge, “knuckling under pressure” isn’t something Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker does well, whether it’s taking on organized union leaders outside the State Capitol building in 2011, or telling President Obama that his plan to reduce pollution from coal-fired power plants is “unworkable.”

The Republican Governor who has won three elections for the office within a four-year period, has demonstrated time and again his no-nonsense, “go big and go bold” approach in running his state, is eyeing a presidential run in 2016.

The governor went onto say that his state would not comply with the president’s plan and stating that the presidents plan is without; “significant and meaningful changes.”

This plan was Obama’s attempt at reducing emissions deemed harmful to the environment and blamed for global warming, by those on the left and attempting to use the environment as a guise in yet another bid at taking control away from the states.

In a letter, dated May 21, Walker said the plan made “questionable assumptions” and was “riddled with inaccuracies.”

Wisconsin is among 15 coal-reliant states that are suing the Environmental Protection Agency to block the so-called Clean Power Plan. The plan would require states to cut carbon dioxide emissions by 30 percent by 2030.

The issue of pollution and the environment has become a politicized talking point for the left’s agenda despite the evidence that no global warming has been proven to be taking place. In fact the climate has always changed, and the assumption that prior to the Industrial Revolution the earth had a stable climate is simply wrong

Moreover no deterministic computer model will ever be able to make an accurate prediction of climate 100 years into the future. However the biggest untruth about human global warming is the assertion that nearly all scientists agree that it is occurring and at a dangerous rate

We need men like Walker at all levels of government who will stand their ground on the issues that matter and not bow to leftist ideology, even when it’s coming from the president.
